extension with the team.

Bogut, the starting center for the Warriors, has been injury prone throughout his career. However, this season, he feels like he is finally back at 100% after playing much of last season in pain.

Last year, he played in 32 games in the regular season, starting in each of them, and averaged 5.8 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks in just under 25 minutes per game.

During the playoffs, Bogut started in all 12 of the team’s contests, upping his averages to 7.2 points, 10.9 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks in just over 27 minutes per game helping the Warriors to a defeat of the Denver Nuggets in the first round of the playoffs before falling to the San Antonio Spurs in six games in the Western Conference Semi-Finals.

Although his numbers last season weren’t phenomenal, Bogut plays a key role for this team as it’s defensive enforcer. This year though, Bogut is looking to make more of an impact offensively as well. Now that he is back to full strength, he feels quicker, lighter on his feet and feels like he is more able to make quick moves in the post.

The key this year is for Bogut to stay healthy. If he can do that, the Warriors will have a shot to be contenders in the West.
